Activities
a. Request and manage the
material resources necessary for the development of the activities of the
Hydrographic and Navigation Service and the attached Hydrographic Stations.
b. Plan, coordinate and
implement hydrographic, oceanographic, meteorological and maritime signaling
investigations, with the purpose of implementing them in the GIS geographic
information systems, in the aquatic spaces of Venezuela.
c. Authorize and supervise
the institutions that carry out research activities in aquatic spaces in
Venezuela.
d. Perform quality control
and authorize the publication of paper and electronic nautical charts of
Venezuela.
