Contributions in research projects around automation, future scenarios, and renewable energies in the SATIC seedbed (research line of the GREST group) of the Nueva Granada Military University.
Participation in the course on Nature-Based Solutions for Resilience to Disasters and Climate Change, offered by the United Nations Environment Program; from the seminar on the Exploitation and Use of Water Resources and the Treatment of the Aquatic Environment for Latin America, the Caribbean and the South Pacific, offered by the Rural Electrification Research Institute of the Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China; and the course on Comprehensive Assessment of Biodiversity and its Benefits (with an emphasis on the Colombian highlands), led by El Bosque University, the Alexander von Humboldt Biological Resources Research Institute, the Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research, the Project team TONINA and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ - Colombia).

Skills
Perform basic and applied research on renewable natural resources and the environment in Colombian coastlines and marine and ocean ecosystems, emphasizing what concerns coastal erosion and geohazards; to provide the necessary scientific knowledge for policy formulation, decision making, the design of alternatives (Solutions based on Nature) and the preparation of plans and projects that lead to national development.
Work on the identification and demarcation of protected areas; provide professional and strategic support for the integrated management of Colombia's marine and coastal areas, particularly those most affected by climate change; and provide advice on technical and engineering matters.
