•  Identify and quantify organisms from zooplankton samples collected at the IMOS Australian National Stations-NRS. (IMOS stands for Integrated Marine Observing System)
•  Identify and quantify copepods from samples collected with the Continuous Plankton Recorder (CPR) from Australian coastal waters (Australian East Coast and Great Australian Bight mainly).
• Recording the results of the sample analysis in the IMOS database which is publicly available at: https://portal.aodn.org.au.
• Collection of data and samples at the NRS - North Stradbroke Island (Brisbane-Australia). For instance: environmental data (CTD, secchi disc, field observations); water samples for analysis of nutrients, total suspended solids, dissolved carbon, salinity (chemical method), microbial cytometry, pigments, phytoplankton and zooplankton of the water column.  
• To support undergrad and PhD students in the identification of main group of zooplankton and broad identification of marine copepods.
• Introducing general information about plankton to students from schools and university level.
• Collaborate with writing tasks related to the reporting of our research projects and peer reviewed publications.
• To assist students in the use of the ZooScan.
