Activities
I have been working in the area of ocean sciences and natural resources management on different projects for the past 8 years and have through this, accumulated commendable experience in both research development, research project management and implementation, proposal development, fundraising and policy processes on marine sciences, integrated coastal zone management, capacity development and blue economy issues. My work has solely been driven by my desire to contribute to improving the life and wellbeing of the most vulnerable in society and ensuring healthy natural ecosystems by exploring how it can influence governance and policy processes at various levels. My understanding and interest in the nexus of ocean sciences, natural resources management and policy dynamics, with the skills I have as well as the networks built over the years, is a strong foundation for me personally and is an asset, I bring to teams I work with when dispensing the various duties of any role I have, and continue impacting on the research done in ocean sciences.
