I am a Canadian with a MSc degree in Marine Sciences. During the past years I have had the opportunity to explore various professional sectors.
in 2019, I am participating in a student research project ‘Exploring the Wadden Sea’. During this time I will be analyzing physical oceanographic parameters, sediment transport and biogeochemical analyses and study micro- and macrofauna.
In 2016 I participated in a research excursion in order to map the seafloor basin off the Belgian coast of the North Sea. This project was based on monitoring of indicators of good environmental status under the Europe’s Marine Strategy Framework Directive
In 2014 I had the opportunity to work for a Colombian NGO that protects coral reefs in order to study coral reef protection projects. This experience allowed me to experiment with different working environments and have enabled me to collaborate my experience with different creative teams.
In 2012 I went to Mexico as part of an internship in order to investigate different soils compositions. During that time I also participated in several environmental conservation projects such as water contamination projects in the south of Mexico.
In 2010 I studied sustainable agriculture in Cuba and connected with local professors in various areas scientific domains.
In 2008 I went to eastern Africa to work as a volunteer in Nakuru national park in Kenya. I had the opportunity to work with several medicinal and ecological scientists in order to study the interactions of animals with their local environment.
In 2007 I traveled to San Jose & San Carlos, Costa Rica for a span of 2 months and facilitated proper horticulture methods in rural areas as well as volunteered at an animal rehabilitation centre.
